Peace of Mind
We are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority that means you have the security of knowing client account reports are carried out by independent accountants each year and any breach of solicitor accounts rules are reported to the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Further, if the current Principal is unable to run the Practice through sudden illness or death, the Solicitors Regulation Authority has the authority to appoint a solicitor or firm to step in and run the Practice and deal with client’s needs. We in fact have an arrangement, notified to the Solicitors Regulation Authority, which will ensure minimum delay in such an eventuality.

Congratulations to Aisha who has recently obtained a post graduate certificate in employment law.  This is the latest addition to Aisha's extensive achievements and has increased Aisha's in depth knowledge of all aspects of Employment Law.
Why Choose Us?
We have around 30 years experience in the law, two thirds of that time as a qualified solicitor working at a high level in local government and, since January 2000, as a Principal Solicitor in our own Practice

We will agree a fixed fee for legal work undertaken.

A fully qualified, experienced solicitor deals with your matter throughout which means you have the peace of mind that problems will be identified early and suitable solutions put forward for your approval.

For us small means, a one to one relationship with your lawyer, individual attention and advice to suit your personal circumstances.

We take a holistic approach to every problem and promote high standards of service to our clients. We can deal with your employment concerns, divorce, transfer property, draft your will and advise you on other related matters without you having to deal with a different firm or individual. We use excellent Barristers when required who expend the same care and attention to the clients’ needs as we do.

We are good negotiators and recommend you speak with us before agreeing terms of a business lease or contract to ensure you get the best deal.

A client took a lease of premises on terms that we advised against, meant she would be working to enrich the Landlord instead of herself. The client took on the lease nevertheless, as it’s her right to have the final decision.

The client came back a year later however asking to be negotiated out of the lease because, she agreed we had been right, she was making a loss because of the onerous terms of the lease. We used our best endeavours and managed to agree closure as economically as possible for the client.
It is very important to have trust and confidence in your lawyer. At Khalaf & Co. you have a fully qualified lawyer, with many years experience of dealing with claims both large (£800,000+) and small (£1,500+).

Our terms of business - We will carry out all work for you on the terms set out in our Terms of Business. We will ask you to sign our Terms of Business to indicate that you have read and understood them. If, for any reason, you do not sign our Terms of Business but you continue to engage us, you will be deemed to have signed and agreed to them.
