| Aisha obtained, in 2007, her Post Graduate Certificate in Employment Law with a very respectable grade and has started the LLM two year part time Masters Course in Employment Law in September 2008. |

| Running her own general law practice from an office in her home
specialising in commercial and domestic conveyancing; employment law;
contract disputes, wills probate and general court work including
magistrate’s court (CSA Summonses motoring offences, defending Food Act
Cases). August 2005 to Date we changed our business name to KHALAF & Co Solicitors and moved to our new office at Unit 4 Riverside Business Centre, Riverside Court, Lowestoft NR33 OTQ . The Practice subscribes to The Practical Lawyer and Law Society Gazzette as well as the online services provided by Lawtel and Practical Law which provides daily reports on employment law and other cases. Aisha is also Involved in Young Enterprise and has been a Business Adviser at Lowestoft College and Benjamin Britten School Lowestoft. Aisha is also a business mentor for the Princes Trust and a member of the business and professional Norwich Woman's Club. |

| Aisha took time out to enjoy her fourth child who
is now at Secondary School. During that period she acted as a volunteer
at the CAB Lowestoft; as Secretary to the then South Lowestoft Traders
Association (for 2 years); was also a regular helper at Rainbow/Guides,
St. Georges School Southwold – now Part of St. Felix School- as well as
assisting local businesses with debt recovery court work. She did a Computer course at Lowestoft College, and Business Start Up Course run by the Chamber of Commerce before setting up her Practice. She regularly attends legal update courses and keeps up to date on Solicitors Accounts Rule. |

| Supervised the Local Land Charges, Common Law and Conveyancing
Sections, the Legal Team of Assistant Solicitors, Legal Executives,
Trainee Legal Executive and the Articled Clerk. Responsibilities included attending Management Team Meetings, undertaking staff appraisals, attending staff appointments panels. Housing -General Advice, possession and squatter action, including attending County Court and putting the Council’s case. Contracts – advice, drafting, preparing tribunal statements, as well as advocacy at tribunal hearings. Environmental Health - advice, drafting court documents and presenting Council’s case (HMO, Street Trading, Licensing Appeals) in the magistrate’s court. Planning Enquiries and Lands Tribunal Hearings, included checking/advising on Planning Officers’ statements, and advocacy at hearings. General legal advice to Directors and other Senior Officers on a myriad of subjects and investigating complaints against Senior/Chief Officers and reporting to the Chief Executive. Also acted as Deputy Returning Officer under the then Director of Legal Services.
